Parham Alliance Beautification and Revitalization Organization Reigniting Community Engagement and Resilience

Parham Alliance Beautification and Revitalization Organization (PABRO) is a community group formed by members of Parham Town. Through our collective interests, we are reigniting, beautifying and revitalizing our community. For decades, our community has been neglected, affecting the overall appearance of a once vibrant and resilient Town. In last weekend’s community effort; however, we
came together and successfully removed overgrown trees, trash, excavated and demolished abandoned derelict houses, and removed other solid waste from our Town; these contributed to its unsightly appearance and dilapidated image.

Through this PABRO community cleanup initiative, we have begun bringing back the beauty of our Parham Town. The event was scheduled for January 23 and 24, with the goal of attacking specific areas that were pinpointed for cleanup. Our eagerness to get started resulted in the cleanup commencing on the afternoon of January 22. On the morning of the 23, one could see the activity as the heavy equipment began traversing the Town offering much-needed assistance, which began the facelift process. Members of the community were geared up and ready to participate as the cleanup got underway.

With the community power and equipment over the two-day period, we tackled several critical areas that made a significant difference to the appearance of our Town. To all those who unflinchingly contributed, PABRO expresses gratitude to the following corporate sponsors, who made our first cleanup venture possible and highly successful: Ace Heavy Equipment and Trucking, Chuka’s Trucking and Heavy Duty Equipment Services, Waste Management Solutions, Tori’s Water Delivery and Trucking, Nash Trucking and Equipment Services, RGS Enterprise, Frankie’s Trucking and Sanitation Services, Turner’s Equipment and Trucking, G.C.S. Bottling Company Limited, APUA, National Solid Waste Management Authority and 3G Rentals and Equipment Services.

Special thanks to all members of the community, who donated refreshments, and showed up to lend their time and effort to this challenging venture. Even though the task was daunting and there is still much to do, PABRO is enormously proud of our collective accomplishments on January 22, 23 and 24. We look forward to our ongoing collective and unstoppable efforts in beautifying and revitalizing our Parham Town.
