01.

The membership of the PABRO shall be open to any person over the age of eighteen (18) years residing in or originating from Parham Town, who demonstrates an on-going interest in assisting the PABRO to achieving its aim and objectives, willing to abide by the policies of the PABRO, and pay any subscription fees agreed to by the Executive Committee.

Each member shall pay a one-time registration fee of Twenty ($20.00) Eastern Caribbean Dollars. Parhamites residing outside of Antigua and Barbuda or the Eastern Caribbean territories, shall pay a minimum one-time membership fee of Ten ($10.00) United States Dollars.

Two-thirds (2/3) majority of the Executive Committee may for reasonable cause recommend suspension of attendance to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) or special meeting of any member who knowingly violates the Constitution for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days. Where the recommendation to suspend is accepted and the member doesn’t challenge the suspension the suspension will be effected. If not satisfied, the member has the right to be heard by the PABRO’s Arbitration committee. Should the Arbitration Committee uphold the suspension the member’s suspension will be effected. No further right of appeal against suspension will exist beyond the Arbitration Committee. Upon the expiration of the period of suspension the member will resume membership of the PABRO.

Every individual member shall have one vote at general meetings or by proxy. The member shall provide and sign a document appointing the individual to act on his behalf at the meeting and this document shall be valid for the meeting only or if the meeting is adjourned.
