PABRO Donation to Parham Clinic

The Parham Alliance Beautification and Revitalization Organization (PABRO), located at Parham Town, St. Peter’s, Antigua, is a not-for-profit organization duly registered on February 24, 2021, under the Friendly Societies Act, Cap 184 of the Laws of Antigua and Barbuda, Revised Edition 1992.

PABRO’s aim is to beautify and revitalize Parham Town. Fulfilment of this aim will result in economic growth with a focus on youth development, education, elder care, and health preservation of our cultural heritage, our community, and the environment.

In keeping with the PABRO’s aim, to focus on health, and after an enlightening conversation with Nurse April Francis, (District Nurse Midwife), in which she outlined the Clinic’s dire need for specific equipment and supplies; the PABRO executive immediately embarked on a solicitation exercise among ‘friends and patriots of Parham’, currently residing in North America.

The response has been remarkable! The gifts and supplies received thus far run the gamut of medical equipment and supplies for the effective and efficient operation of a modern community health facility. These include the following: pediatric scales, otoscope, pulse oximeters, fetal Doppler, sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and pillow protectors, flushable wipes, disinfectant wipes,
and sprays, toilet paper, and paper towels.

The Parham Health Clinic currently serves not only the Parham community, but also, the Pares, Glanvilles, Seatons, and Willikies communities.

The PABRO wishes to commit to its aim and continues to seek opportunities to fulfil its overall objectives while attending to the needs of our community.
